Today is Ben's birthday and he is a kind, gentle mannered, long term boyfriend of my daughter Maria.
He enjoys bouldering and climbing.
Here in Rishton our weather is beautifully sunny and mild, 19.5 c.
I listened for the news of Boris Johnson and his resignation will have resulted in many thoughts and prayers for a wise and capable new Prime Minister. Most of us would probably not have done well in that top role and all it attracts. It is a heavy cross in these awesomely testing times.
I especially love orange as a colour, for it's great vibrancy and high energy. This flower just caught the sunlight well, but I edited it to add more sunshine.
