Felt garland

I bought this at the monthly 'Marie Marche' in the city centre at the weekend. It's a French-style market with an array of stalls selling lovely bakery, wines, honey, soaps and others with hand-made items. It's held in different cities around the Netherlands and I enjoy going along when it's here in The Hague.
Anyway, whilst meandering along, this hanging garland caught my eye. My partner and his family are from Shetland and this reminded me of the annual Up Helly Aa festival held there. If you've never heard of it, it's worth a 'Google'...it's quite a spectacle, culminating in the burning of a hand-made galley.
