What have they done to New Berry Fruits?

What have they done to Meltis New Berry Fruits? From since I was a child, these iconic jelly sweets came on a tray in a box. Each fruit was shaped like the fruit it was meant to be. The lime was lime shaped, the lemon was lemon shaped and so on. You bit into the jelly fruit, or even chewed the outside of the fruit because you knew that in the centre was this crisp sugary coated little ball full of liquid jelly. It ran into your mouth. It was the best part of it. No more!! The jellies are no longer fruit shaped, they are oblong. They don’t nestle in the tray, they are individually cellophane wrapped and chucked in a box. The crisp sugary coated centre is no longer there even though it pretends to be on the box!! If you Google, ´what happened to New Berry Fruits?’ This is what you get.

“Newberry Fruits are the classic fruit Jelly with a liquid centre. We believe these are being discontinued as there are manufacturing problems with the centres and it is no longer cost effective to manufacture. They are now being manufactured in Germany.”
I do realise this is a first world problem. I just wish they would keep things as they were.
