Lexi branching out

Until recently Lexi hasn't been up on the worktops, and she now only gets up there if there's a box to act as a step. She has some way to go before she reaches the same heights as Alfie - but she is a lot smaller, so we have to make allowances.

It was pottery again today and I finished glazing last term's pots, so I can now start something new. I hope it won't be too long before my pieces get fired - I'm dying to see how they turn out.
 
It turned into a bit of a scorcher today - by Edinburgh's standards at least, nothing like the south of England I'm glad to say. Looks as if it's going to stay warm and mostly sunny for a while - summer's here!
