The greatest thing since sliced bread

Been busy working with Camera Seed to get some retro looking shots for a pitch tomorrow. So it seemed only appropriate to use the app for today's blip too.

Dedicated to Hovis who's Birmingham factory has closed today after 50 years. I would like to say it will be sadly missed but if I am honest I didn't even know there was a Hovis factory in Birmingham! But it's never nice to see local manufacturers disappear and jobs lost.

On another note. I have broken a rule today. That rule was to only eat black pudding when paired with a scallop. No scallop in sight today, I just need to admit to myself that I quite liked dried blood! I will be eating liver next. Which reminds me of a poem I wrote when I was about eleven. I had to read it out at poetry evening and got quite an applause. It went as follows:

I hate liver
Have you seen it on a plate?
It's brown and disgusting
And in an awful state.

When you put it in a frying pan
It splutters and it spits.
And when you have to eat it
You cut it into bits.

You hide it under a pile of mash
And say you've had enough.
You know there'll be no pudding
But mum says only tough!

Talented huh? Haha.
