Opening "World Music Competition"

Today is not only the opening of André Rieu's 3-week home game in Maastricht, but also the opening of the WMC in Kerkrade.
Everything has been canceled by Corona in the past, but today these 2 events can finally be enjoyed!!
The WMC is a 4 week long competition of different music styles.
In the theaters, different music genres compete with each other for the world title.
On the sports fields you can enjoy marching competitions every weekend and show groups that make music, march and show show elements.

Now these groups “from different countries worldwide” compete with each other for the world title.
There are also performances by various bands in the center of Kerkrade for 4 weeks. A kind of Oktoberfest where the beer flows freely haha.
The event is organized every 4 years and is a party for everyone.
