Treasures from ancient Armenia...

Today we visited the exhibition "Under the spell of Mount Ararat - Treasures from ancient Armenia". There were very beautiful ancient objects from Armenia. On the picture a wooden reliquary containing a piece of wood which should be from Noah's ark. Noah's ark landed on Mount Ararat (that's were the title refers to), which is the mountain on the background, in ancient the mountain was located in Armenia, but since 1920 it's in Turkey... @ Drents Museum, Assen, the Netherlands
