Smile and clap

Two graduation ceremonies today so it’s another of the typical scenes….this time the procession lined up and ready to go into the hall. Both went smoothly, although the afternoon was very hot and stuffy in the hall as finally the weather improved and it was a glorious sunny warm day (probably in celebration of BJ finally agreeing to go!)
In between times I finally managed to sort out private care to start for P until social care arrangements kick in and managed to take the first stack of books to the charity shop from my office. Late in the day I got a text from social care to say they can start on Monday so I then cancelled the private one….phew! A and I think we’ll go down tomorrow to cover the weekend with him, and can take Paisley and stay at T&Kt’s as they’re away on holiday, but still need to try and sort out cat care.
To the Fringe launch in the evening with A. Nice drinks and canapes (unusually these were pots of very delicious curry) and some speeches and entertainment but not many people we knew there. Did manage to pick up some copies of the programme though, thank goodness!
