Zoe woke up after the winter

The orchid belonged to an ex-colleague named Zoe. She left the office and the orchid a year or so before Covid. The orchid moved with us to our new offices, but all plants were banned other than the paid for monotonic ones, looked after by an outside contractor, so the orchid came home with me. It is a good flowerer (bloomer don't sound right), but was flowerless for the last 7 months, just to flower now, using all that conserved energy.
