GOMA

An artwork (I suppose) outside the Gallery of Modern Art, Glasgow.
It is a horizontal tv screen of sorts hanging up amongst the exterior pillars outside the entrance. It shows a live camera view of the massive Finnieston Crane. As you look up at it the view continuously rotates slowly and you are treated to a droning which is the amplified sound of the ambient noise such as the wind blowing through the girders.
More interesting (just) imho than the stuff on display inside at present (including an opened umbrella and some rubbish scattered on the floor...). But I am not an artist.
