Star Spangled

4th of July!! Most of the holiday celebrations took place on the weekend. Downtown Denver was a bit of a ghost town today with offices closed and no conventions taking place. Thankfully my breakfast place was open and doing a roaring trade! I went there just after noon and had ‘brunch’ as I almost always do.

It was also very HOT!! Almost 40C (almost 100F). The breakfast place was just a half block away from the hotel. I went on a short walk around a big block after my meal, and that’s about all I could stand. Don’t like the heat!
