so quiet without all the waders, nesting is over and the young have flown. However, there were still plenty of Skylarks, Pipits and Fieldfares around. On the loch, there were Blackheaded gulls, Mallard, Little Grebe and Moorhens. Some Common blue damselflies were in the heather. Best sighting was this male White faced darter, as it has been a poor year so far for Odonata, no water and cool.
It was another sunny day! The cloud was just rolling off the plateau.
