Harvest time

Last night I didn't get much sleep because a local field was being harvested.  It is fascinating to watch at night, but impossible to sleep through it. I still don't think many realise the reality of modern farming.

Here is another example. This is the field over our garden gate, farmed by a friend. This year the crop is contaminated with lots of black grass. That will massively reduce its value.
