Whilst I've been very unsuccessful this year with trying to grow poppies from seeds, I have had some success with some other wildflower seeds.  All I did was put some topsoil in a few sections in my wall and chucked some seeds in and hey presto some flowers appeared.  Not a huge amount but enough to fill some gaps.  I believe its Borage also known as a starflower.
