Fiesta streets
We were treated to a tour of Javea old town this morning. It was fascinating, so much so that it was difficult to choose a photo.
But the idea of streets being decorated for a fiesta takes the biscuit, especially as the man kindly giving us a tour used to enjoy the Bonfire Night festivals in Lewes, which personally can't be beaten. So I picked this because of the link with home too.
We ended the tour in a restaurant and enjoyed a typical Spanish coffee, cafe del tiempo, I think, with the coffee poured over ice (and, believe me, an ice footbath would have been extremely welcome by then) and an exquisite tapas meal that surpassed my imagination.
