Down to Bantry for the launch of the West Cork Literary Festival in Bantry Library this afternoon. A glorious day for it, the first one back in person since 2019 and everyone glad to be there. 
My extra is Francis, the founder and chief executive of West Cork Music, who have run three festivals in Bantry during the summer for over twenty years now. Chamber Music , Literary and Traditional Music. In conversation he said they'd had to cancel seven and a half concerts due to Covid last week in the Chamber Music festival.
