Didn’t Blip yesterday as it was such a busy day at work and then helping my friend move house in the evening. Very glad to travel up to London today to spend the weekend with my youngest daughter and her lovely partner. I knew she was working so when I got to London Victoria took myself off into the little park on Buckingham Palace Road to eat my lunch. In the park are these two small structures about the size of beach huts and covered in shells. There is no explanation and somehow seem out of place in the city of Westminster. But I loved the connection to where my heart lies at the seaside. Then onwards to Hackney Wick and wonderful hugs with my girl. After she finished work we had a walk round Victoria Park and delicious supper. Instant relaxation being here. She’s such a fabulous cook.
