Grasses

A morning looking after R while her husband went to his hospital appointment. She was in a good mood and we managed fine. 

We have known each other for many years and it is sad to see her as she is now. She hates needing so much help and not being able to do things for herself. It is not always easy helping her. Having patience and a sense of humour makes things a lot easier. And having a thick skin too!  

An afternoon in the garden with more canes and string! The broad beans and the peas are well trussed up now! Luckily, the flowers are pretty packed into the borders so they are supporting each other for the most part. The dull, showery, windy and chilly weather seems to be forecast to be with us for days yet! Ho hum!
