Matthew E White is a man with a beard and a magical musical mission.
Heard a lot of things about this guy as well as hearing some of hia magical music.
His looks, and sounds, represent the eating up of the laid back southern rock of the kings of leon mixed wuth the subtle beautiful harmonies of the magic numbers, but he spews it back out in a colorful kaliedescopic vision of musical wonder.
His first visit to these shores was welcomed with open ears as we basked in the beauty of his country, soul, goapel and americana tinged sound which i still believe carries a lovely, undertowed feel of our very own Beta Band.
A star, and musical shining light in the making.
