Pembroke Castle
This morning we visited another fantastic Welsh castle in Pembroke. There's a huge map of Wales showing all of the Welsh castles still standing. Here's a video of our visit to the castle.
We had a picnic lunch with a nice view of the castle and discussed the history that we just learned. Henry VII was born there and he ended the Wars of the Roses when he defeated Richard III. This also marked the end of the 'Middle Ages'.
In the afternoon we visited Church Door Cove and went swimming. With the tide out we were able to swim right under the church door! Then we had ice creams in Tenby before heading back to The Fern for another barbecue and amazing sunset.
