A birch in leaf

In my old Sweden we usually had to wait until at least the end of May before we could see birches in leaf. And that usually marked the first days of early summer. And it is really very much like early summer on Saltspring just now, although one has to be prepared for some kind av backlash. For the moment we enjoy these beautiful and sunny days.

And they say that my house renovation will be finished tomorrow. The end of a stressfull period!
