Madrid - Day 3

Another poor sleep due to the heat and  hustle and bustle of the city. The final morning of our course at UNED. Headed for the airport - walking through the Ciudad Universitaria district to get the metro out to the airport. Fairly easy security, and a long queue in the Todos Pasaportes line rather than the EU one... Mooched and then there was a flight delay - fortunately there was no queue in passport control so out quick and onto a train to Ely. Road closure added to the delay - home at 10.45 instead of the 8 o' clock ish that had been planned. View from the plane shortly after take off from Madrid Barajas.
