final days...

I went riding today at the Lake and did not feel fresh or sorry for myself. I think where I have been getting so fit that I cannot even remotely deal with hangovers. The mountain was covered in what Tam calls 'death cookies' and I decided to ride this old board with rail ripped out. This was a stupid and disastrous idea as it kept grabbing and spinning around as well as contending with this frozen wasteland of death cookies.

I felt especially bad too as Tam paid $60 to ski as he came from Vancouver! Either way it was good to get out and we did a hike which wasn't too bad. I dont often not' enjoy snowboarding, but today I felt done for the first time this season. I may only go up one more day! next week it finishes. Just did a grocery shop and it came to $140. Damn. Did I mention I had an interview for residency!?

Pic is old board with newer one behind. Snowboarding is one day from over for me and dont even think il bother with the last 3 weeks at Sunshine. tut tut. We did however start early this year, October to be precise!!!
