Avignon

Great day out in the beautiful city of Avignon.  There was an arts festival going on with lots of actors dressed up and handing out leaflets for shows. There were parades, dancers and bands - a bit like a mini Edinburgh festival.. We took Le Petit Train tour for 45 minutes round to see the sites.  I loved this tower with its 6ft golden Madonna looking over and protecting the people.
Rachel Steve, Finn and Ollie went to an outside music event in our village in the evening.  Lots of fun and dancing.  Henry and I had an early night!
