Bude castle

The full kiddies party for Mimi today. Exhausted after several hours of being on twin duty (a double act of 16 months of walking naughtiness). Bude is an interesting town this building, this is Bude Castle and was built about 1830 on sand on a concrete raft for Victorian inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney and is now a heritage centre. Gurney invented the Bude Light, among other things, this was a bright oil lamp which was installed in the houses of parliament and Trafalgar Square

PS the four leaf clover worked I bought a lottery ticket last night and won £4.50. I would be able to give up work yet :-)
