Fairy Tale Day 4 Sound of Music

Late long full Continental breakfast (nowadays has scrambled eggs & bacon as standard almost everywhere) after the tiring day yesterday. As we had arrived at the hotel so late (20:30) & everywhere in rural Germany/Austria closes up, we counted ourselves lucky to just catch the town Turkish pizza takeaway open & had snacked on our hotel balcony!

Passing Innsbruck & the town named after me, Going, crossed border into Germany and visited the Königssee next to Berchtesgaden for an afternoon tea & beer. It was too late to do the boat trip and there were thunderstorms threatening. So simply headed back across the border into Austria & Sound of Music City, Salzburg. Lovely walk around the old city & up to the castle.
