Moving on

Back blipped on 9th July

We packed up at our AirBnb in County Cork, and drove up to County Mayo.  We had hoped to schedule a viewing en route, but that didnt work out.  So we took our time, stopped in Bunratty for coffee and to make some phone calls, sitting in the shadow of the castle.  This bit of old bridge caught my eye as we walked up from the car park.

Then we had a late lunch in Tuam - a rather rough and ready cafe, but the food was quite good, and plentiful enough.  Then a few staples (including tonic water) from Tesco in Ballinrobe.

In contrast to our previous lodgings, which were adequate, but quite bijou, our new AirBnb is a whole house with two double and one single bedroom, so we could each sleep in our own double bed!  More than enough space for the two of us.  But I c***ked up by failing to ensure it had WiFi.  So blip has had to wait till we could get to a restaurant with WiFi today.  But that's a whole other tale.
