Da Peerie Neuk

Still fairly windy, but mostly a sunny day, with clouds passing over, cloudy this evening.  In the sun and out the wind was warm.

Up early, and breakfast in the caravan.  Popped into Julie's for a cuppa, before heading to see the lasses.  Went out for a run up the hill, and saw the ground works for the new space launch centre, which is well underway now.  After lunch, headed to the shops for a look around, and a walk with Sammy before tea.  Back to Julie's for a cuppa, while they were getting ready for a night out, which we'll join up with later.  Saw the Google Street View car today in Unst.

It was Anna's 13th birthday last month, and she's finally had a chance to get a sleepover with friends.  Having no Deliveroo here, Julie gave them menu's, and did her own Unst-roo to them, cooking it herself.  This is a new holiday accommodation for Unst, owned by Julie's pal Melanie Mouat.  A custom built caravan, like an old traveller's caravan, with all the mod cons and a stove.  Might have to look into booking it for a weekend, it's super cosy and well presented.  L-R - Lottie, Ena, Ava, Anna and Natalie, having Unst-roo waffles for breakfast.  Taken inside the Peerie Neuk, Sunnyside, Haroldswick, Unst.
