Watching the Wildlife

We spent a bit of time in the morning walking around Reykjavic including a visit to the top of the cathedral. After lunch, despite the sea being described as “rough”, we all joined a boat trip to see puffins. After further weather driven delays, later, we took another boat to see whales and we were very successful seeing humpback and minky whales as well as dolphins. Our guide got very excited as typically you don’t get so much to see. We all hugely enjoyed the trip and no one was unwell.

We ate out as this was our last night in Iceland, a great meal.

Blip had to be a whale, the tail of the humpback.
