the flycatcher

Ziggy loves sitting in the sun catching flies. He’s very quick and every now and then you can hear a lot of mouth popping and snapping. I’m not sure if he eats them or not. I was hoping to catch him doing it but, as is always the case when the camera’s ready, no flies were around. Another hot day - glad we got a couple of hours in the garden early this morning. So hot this afternoon we decided to visit the picture framing shop to buy a couple of frames for artwork done by Holly and Tom. Called into Aldi on the way back - so cool in there with the air conditioning.
