Vers L’equîlibre

This amazing biodegradable land art appeared virtually overnight on the side of the Grand Chamossaire. It was created by Saype, a French Swiss artist form pigments of charcoal, chalk, water and milk protein. We had been up there earlier in the week wondering why the grass had been cut in an area that isn’t usually touched….now we know why.

We saw it when we went up to support our son who was doing one of three running races around the mountains of Villars today. He did the middle race (27km, 1800 mètres ascent/descent) and we used the ebikes to meet him in different places to cheer him on.

This evening we had a walk at Solalex as the sun started to set. See extra.

This weekend is another busy sportive weekend for the village as today we also hosted the World Para climbing events. Last weekend it was Climbing World Cup events. And tomorrow…..the Tour de France cyclists come over the Col de La Croix and down through Villars.
