Indigo Bunting ~ male

It's been a cool rainy day all day long. Which is rather odd for this time of year. And not unpleasant as a change of pace.

This little cutie arrived this afternoon for a bite to eat. Always a treat to have one visit the café. Indigo buntings are summer residents - he and his wife and kids will head for Central America, and the Caribbean Islands, and just a tiny bit of South America, to spend the winter. It's always nice to welcome them back in the spring.
