Juicy

Finally we woke up to a hot and sunny summer’s day! Lazy start. Tracking our friend Martin who was running the St Cuthbert’s Way (started at midnight and won the over 50 race). Off to the allotment alone as Mr P immersed in his test series rugby all day. Thechimp and thebear came along to give me some useful advice. I was there for ages as there were so many strawberries to pick! We ate them tonight as well as our first new potatoes. Delicious. Went for a walk around Eddleston later on in the afternoon with Kate, Carole, Carole’s son Simon (visiting from NZ) and Archie the dog. G and Ts in the garden with Mr P once home.
