Sunflowers...

Look so happy but I can't look at them anymore without feeling deep pain for the people of the Ukraine. I hope the world does not forget them. I'll keep them close.
We had very heavy rain in the area today. Some flooding. My garden looks amazing...maybe I've been planting it to early all these years. We went to a thank you for your support party today for a friend of ours running for sheriff. The rain stopped and the band played and it was a very nice event. He is a good, decent man, exactly what we need. The way the police are treated these days I'm not sure I want him to win.
