On my morning walk today I found out why they are cutting down so many trees in the woods - they’ve discovered that many of the ash trees are suffering with a fungal disease (ash die-back) so they have to go. It’s a lot of trees they are removing.

Working from home today, then off to meet up with a friend for dinner who I haven’t seen since just before Christmas 2019. Great to catch up with her and hear what she’s been up to. And it was warm enough to sit outside to eat which was a bonus. On the drive back home I was a bit blinded by the setting sun, but it was a beautiful warm light so I found somewhere to pull over and grab a shot.
