The Southerly swell and fishing

When there is a large Southerly swell the sea runs in high and close to the Esplanade here at Nobbys and it is perfect for fishing for Luderick.  They are OK to eat and are popular with the fishermen.   There were three chaps here today fishing.   As you can see our horrendous weather has returned.  Hopefully it won't do any more damage to the flooded area.

Oh and if you remember my blip  the other day when I walked Maggy down the breakwall with that orange/red Nav sign.  You can just see it in the extra if you follow the breakwall along from the right of Nobbys headland, along with the breaking wave.  I took the shot from the esplanade.  You weren't getting me walking down the breakwall today.
