We are going home - yea !

The day we have all been waiting for !!!!

I am checked in at Poole harbour with the car and will be home around 2pm.

Richard is flying by plane, escorted each way by ambulance to our hospital in Guernsey via Gatwick.

He is now well enough to travel, all medical boxes now ticked off, just needing consolidated rehab for his back injury. I helped him walk yesterday, so am confident that within a month, he will be home, although needing a lot of rehab at home as well.

We both cried with joy when told the news this week.

I am so looking forward to seeing the family and friends and having Richard back with us in Guernsey. A dream come true for us all.
