It’s sunny on Tiree

When we’re on Mull this is a frequent phrase as Tiree has, apparently, one of the sunniest aspects in the British Isles.  This morning it was definitely true but the good weather came over to Treshnish to give the benediction to our departure. Still, it made the drive pleasant and beautiful and we rolled onto the Corran ferry easily, eating sandwiches quickly on the other side and arriving, via Glen Orchy and Inveraray to Inver where we are to spend two nights

We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant, beautiful and imaginative as we’d expect from the newly named Scottish Restaurant of the Year!
