Frances...

... the Common Frog - not so common for us! Name changed easily if they turn out to be Francis.

Some of you may remember that we dug a small pond a couple of Winters ago. It nearly killed us as the ground is a lethal mixture of clay with flints. Then we planted it up and waited. Last Summer we had Water Boat Men, damselflies and a few dragonflies.  A couple of days ago for the first time I spotted a frog, but it had vanished by the time I came back with my camera. Today it seems to have decided that I am harmless and posed for me on the side of the pond :-)
