Levens Hall

We had a bit of a lie in, breakfast and then C&N left on a train south at lunchtime.  Unfortunately, their first train was delayed en-route so they missed their connection at Manchester Piccadilly.  They had to wait an hour for the next one.

An interesting weekend with them which improved as it went along.  It was the first time we had seen them on their own without the children.  Although it would have been nice to see the grand-children, it was good to spend time with them as a couple too.  They are hoping to move house, having had offers accepted on their current and prospective homes.  It was good to see the details of the new place which will be bigger and quieter.

This afternoon, Santana and I popped over to Levens Hall for a walk around the lovely gardens there.  Boy, was it hot!
