Builth Wells, Bridge over the Wye

A lovely day's super hot motorcycling with the Four Counties group. We stopped mid-point for a picnic on the banks of the river Wye just by the old grade II listed bridge crossing over it.

Built in 1779 it's like grandfather's axe and almost nothing remains of the original bridge and yet it's still listed. Anyhow a nice 170 mile blast. I might have to sell Ivy to pay for the petrol, but it was all in a good cause...

I particularly enjoyed lying in the grass looking up at the cross-wind tortured clouds, which were like shredded cotton wool. This isn't a long exposure - they looked like that!
