Hard Waves

I haven't often seen this layer of rock on the beach at Burton Bradstock, but here it looks rather like the sea beyond.

It's a strange place to walk, with the cliffs liable to slide rock falls on to the beach with minimum warning.  Many walkers don't worry about the risk, lying or walking very close to the foot of the cliff, but I'll remain cautious . . .
