Kingfisher Sunday
Somewhere under the vegetation on the far bank there is a kingfisher, unlikely I think to be a nest since the riverbank is too low. A record sighting this morning – 5 fly pasts while I was reccing the dog friendly walk in Pollok Park. I celebrated with coffee and a bacon roll in the café chatting to a newbie cyclist who was in training for a cycling trip to Mull. He will find the terrain a bit more undulating than the Southside but I’m sure he knows that.
Caught up with both boys who sounded in good form, dogs, babies and the shopping run keeping them on their toes.
Meanwhile I spent a relaxing afternoon putting off various mundane things for another day and watched the tennis instead. I noticed Kyrgios ate a lot of bananas and Djokovic ate nothing.
