Home for tonight

After 13 hour drive from Garrigues-Sainte-Eulalia I eventually gave up on booking in Evora and am installed in hostal fairly near Portuguese border. Was stopped by police in small village who said I was wearing my seatbelt wrongly, (which I was), that I shouldn’t be displaying my Scottish EU emblem on the number plate (even though I have 2 large UK stickers on the car,), and that my UK Driver’s License is no longer acceptable - I need a European one! Bloody Brexiteers! One policeman kept trying to unpick the Scottish/European sign from my number plate - but it’s an integral part! And Steve always insisted on having a Scottish sticker rather than GB. But ‘them’s the breaks ‘ (is that even English?) - goodbye Boris!
