It’s hot

It was so hot that it was hard to do anything today.

After a very late start I’ve worked in the garden, dead heading and planting the rudbeckia that I’d grown from seed.

The borage has been trodden on so I’ve cut it off and now it’s in a watering can of water outside so that the bees can still enjoy it.

The collage includes flowers that are now growing on the unloved patch down the side of the garden, the first four. And the main image is a butterfly on the Verbena Bonariensis.

At 8:30 the temperature outside is just perfect.
