Slog

A very long but ultimately useful meeting today in an office in the Tanzania Forest Service building in the city centre. It lasted 9 hours and we finally descended from this upper floor way beyond acceptable hours. However the meeting was with partners who I hadn’t met face to face, and it was the first meeting about a big new phase of an existing project in southern Tanzania. So even though I was wiped out afterwards, it was time usefully spent.
