Tewkesbury Medieval Festival

Into battle. A re-enactment of the battle of Tewkesbury 1471 between the Lancastrians and the Yorkists.

This event has been held in Tewkesbury for many years (apart from 2020 and 2021) and includes a camp with like minded enthusiasts from Belgium, France and Germany. In addition to the re-enactment there were stalls offering a range of goods all linked to the 1400s and a Carnival Parade (see extra).

An interesting day but very, very hot.
