Chamomile calm

Lavender and chamomile at the allotment. I popped there twice today - to pick more blackcurrants and water the plants. The fruit bushes are laden this year, some of the blackcurrant branches have snapped because of the weight of the fruit. There will be plenty left for the birds.

Feeling weary so have tried to rest a bit today. It’s been too warm to do much anyway. Watched the Wimbledon Mens’s Final this afternoon. Reminds me of when I first moved to Hampshire in 2009. I sat in my little farm cottage, in the heat of a sunny July day, watching an epic men’s final match and feeling a bit lost in my new surroundings.
