Garnish Island

The view from the Martello Tower on Garnish Island. We took a boat across from Glengariff this morning, had considered swimming at the blue pool, but hope to get back another time to do that.
We had a fantastic guide for the Bryce House tour. Walked around the lovely gardens.
Back in Kenmare for a swim then watched the last 2.5 sets of the Wimbledon men's tennis final. Then went for a second short swim with a friend.
A great dinner cooked by the chef from our favourite restaurant Packies (sadly now closed) delivered a fabulous dinner, Trudi who I am staying with in The Slammer, arranged it.
Another lovely summery day.
Heading home tomorrow.
