They’re ripening!

….. ….. it’s hard growing lemons down here in Central Otago. The winters are harsh, too harsh for lemons. So my lemon tree is in a large pot, and got shifted into the conservatory late autumn. And now the lemons are ripening! Such a thrill.

The day started with a beautiful sunrise, so lovely hanging over the Crown Range - Extras.

The Auckland family called in late afternoon, having been up at Coronet Peak where H. was working and the others skiing. They’ve now travelled over the Crown Range to Wanaka, for more skiing.

I’m happily ensconced in front of the TV, Missy sprawled over my knee, watching MasterChef.
